Who we are

The Michigan Artificial Intelligence Association is an organization on a mission to shape the future of AI in Michigan. Founded in 2026, MAIA grew from conversations between researchers, policymakers, business leaders, and entrepreneurs who kept hitting the same realization: Michigan has the talent, the industries, and the heart to lead in AI, but it needed a focused community that could stitch those strengths together.
